jinnat have been mentioned in the Quran,

Assalam olaikum,
!!! WARNING!!!
To protect oneself from hell read the Quranic verse mentioned below, which is a warning from Allah Paak.So please read these verses
surah araf verse no 36
But those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance,- they are companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for ever).
surah al anaam verse no 49
But those who reject our signs,- them shall punishment touch, for that they ceased not from transgressing.
I make an appeal to all muslim brethren that they should not deny the existence of jinnat. Their mention in the Quran proves that they do exist, along with the rest of the creation of Allah Ta’ala.
I have a question for all those who deny the existence of jinnat, that do they claim to know better than Allah, who is the creator of this entire universe? Since Allah says in the Quran that he has created jinnat, so do such people mean to say that Allah is not telling us the truth and it is they who are right??
Allah has mentioned about the jinnat at several places in the Quran. I have a made compilation of those verses and have posted them here for the perusal of all those people who claim that jinnat do not exist. Denying the existence of jinnat is tantamount to disagreeing with what Allah says. I, henceforth, make an appeal to all such doubters, that they should not indulge in kufr.
In case, anyone has a doubt about the authenticity of the verses mentioned below then scrutinize them with the copy of Quran in your house. I have mentioned the chapters and verses numbers for your convenience.

surah al anaam verse no 100
Yet they make the Jinns equals with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him!
surah al anaam verse no 112
Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy,- evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.
surah al anaam verse no 128
One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns! Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term - which thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth." for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.
surah al araf verse no 38
He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all" : but this ye do not understand.
surah al araf verse no 179
Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning).
surah hood verse no 119
Except those on whom thy Lord hath bestowed His Mercy: and for this did He create them: and the Word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: "I will fill Hell with jinns and men all together."
surah hijir verse no 27
And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.
surah isra verse no 88
Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.
surah kahf verse no 50
Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!
surah naml verse no 39
Said an 'Ifrit, of the Jinns: "I will bring it to thee before thou rise from thy council: indeed I have full strength for the purpose, and may be trusted."
surah saba verse no 12
And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.
surah saba verse no 14
Then, when We decreed (Solomon's) death, nothing showed them his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his staff: so when he fell down, the Jinns saw plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in the humiliating Penalty (of their Task).
surah saba verse no 41
They will say, "Glory to Thee! our (tie) is with Thee - as Protector - not with them. Nay, but they worshipped the Jinns: most of them believed in them."
surah saffat verse no 158
And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment- Seat)!
surah fussilat verse no 29
And the Unbelievers will say: "Our Lord! Show us those, among Jinns and men, who misled us: We shall crush them beneath our feet, so that they become the vilest (before all)."
surah al ahqaf verse no 18
Such are they against whom is proved the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, that have passed away; for they will be (utterly) lost.
surah al ahqaf verse no 29
Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins).
surah dhariyat verse no 56
I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.
surah rehman verse no 13
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
surah rehman verse no 15
And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:
surah rehman verse no 33
O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!
surah rehman verse no 39
On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin.
surah rehman verse no 56
In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-
surah rehman verse no 74
Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-
surah al jinn verse no 1
Say: It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an). They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital!
surah al jinn verse no 5
'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah.
surah al jinn verse no 6
'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly.
surah nas verse no 6

the hierarchy of jinnat

Assalam oalaikum,
Since the jinnat have been created to worship and obey Allah so the ones who rebel rebel against Allah are amongst the shayateen or satans. On the basis of their creation, the human beings have intellect because their earth element holds them back and restrains them whereas their water element makes them supple and easy. However, this is not so in the case of jinnat . The jinnat do not possess these qualities and they have a tendency to stray from the path of righteousness because of the frivolous nature of their intellect and lack of firmness of thought.
The shaitan jinnat that try to harm human beings are divided into 70 sects. Each sect has 70,000 clans which in turn have 70,000 individual jinnat. Their number is so great that if a needle is thrown down from the sky then it will be literally stopped by their heads from falling onto the ground.
From my own experience as an amil I can tell you assuredly that if any black magic practitioner has brought the king of the jinnat under his control than this means that the magician may get access to 40,000-70,000 jinnat. This is because the king of jinnat has 40,000-70,000 jinnat who are subservient to him.
I have first-hand information about their number because I have defeated several kings of jinnat. The magician has to bring the king of jinnat under his control somehow. After this they both enter into an agreement according to which the magician can get a huge number of jinnat to help him carry out his evil tasks. In lieu of this help the magician has to fulfill some conditions of the king of jinnat.
The kingship of jinnat has been mentioned in the Quran

34 She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.

surah namal verse no 34

If the magician manages to bring the sardar of jinnat under his control then he may get access to 800-1600 million jinnat. The sardar has a very huge army of jinnat at his command. I have killed the sardar of jinnat so I have a fair idea about the massive army he has under his control. The magician has to make a deal with the sardar of jinnat as well. The sardar provides the magician with some sifli jinnat to help him carry out his evil missions. In return, the sardar is appeased by the magician by satisfying his lust by offering his wife, sisters etc. before the sardar.
There is a mention of the sardar of jinnat in the Holy Quran.

123 Thus have We placed leaders in every town, its wicked men, to plot (and burrow) therein: but they only plot against their own souls, and they perceive it not.

surah al anaam verse no 123
If the magician has brought a big group of satanic jinnat under his control then it means that he may have an unlimited number of sifli jinnat or satans at his command. There is a great unity amongst the satanic jinnat that exist in the cosmos. The bond is so strong that if need arises, then the satans can even sacrifice their life to help out each other. The leader of the satans is called the hakim. Very dangerous types of satans can be found in such groups including those who do sorcery 24/7 and who have complete knowledge of sorcery (amil-kamil jinnat).
These satans get very pleased with two things- creating misunderstandings amongst husband and wife and having sex with women. When the magician orders them to bring about separation between husband and wife or to have sex with a women then they readily carry out his orders. If suppose a girl has sex with a boy and then she asks for some favor in return then it is quite obvious that the boy will never refuse. Similarly when the magicians offer their own wives, mothers etc before the satans for sex then the satans get appeased and readily carry out the orders of the magicians.
Such groups of satans is huge and dangerous and when an amil tries to defeat them they go on fighting with the amil for very long. It may take 1-12 years for an amil to kill their entire group. The satanic groups have been mentioned in the Quran.

128 One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns!

The creation of jinnat

Assalam olaikum,

Apart from human beings, Allah ta’ala has created jinnat from smokeless fire.

15 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:

surah rahman verse no 15

They have been made invisible to us so we cannot see them. They are visible only in some cases when Allah wishes to lift the veil before some people. The jinnat are insubstantial so they can take any sensory form they want.
Now the question arises that why have they been created? Well, Allah has created them so that they may obey him and worship him. This is mentioned in the Quran.

56 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.

surah adh dhariyat verse no 56

The first jin had been much before the creation of Adam. This fact is also mentioned in the Quran.

26 We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape;
27 And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.

surah hijr verse no 26,27

The tasks that the jinnat are capable of accomplishing

Assalam oalaikum,
The jinnat can do physical work just like us. On the spiritual front they are capable of creating satanic thoughts in our minds to entice us. Such thoughts are known as shatani waswasaas. The jinnat differ from human beings on some grounds such as they are not visible to us. This fact has been mentioned in the Quran.
The word jin is derived from an Arabic root meaning, ‘hidden from sight’. Allah says in the Holy Quran:
“… Verily he (Shaitaan) and his qabeeluhu i.e. his soldiers from the jin or his tribe see you from where you cannot see them…” (al -A’raaf 7:27).
The jinnat are quite powerful and can do tough manual tasks such as bringing heavy objects from distant lands. There is a mention about their physical strength in the Quran.

surah saba verse no 12 , 13

وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ ۖ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ ﴿١٢﴾ (12) And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire
They worked for him as he desired, (making) arches, images, basons as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fixed (in their places): "Work ye, sons of David, with thanks! but few of My servants are grateful!"

Allah has created different kinds of jinnat. Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani narrated: “The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: ‘The jinnat are of three types, firstly those who have wings and they can fly through the air; secondly those who resembles snakes and dogs and thirdly those who stop for rest and then resume their journey.”
Quran proves that the jinnat can fly

surah jinn verse no 8,9:
وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا ﴿٨﴾ (8)
'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires
We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.

The jinns are capable of transcending great heights and covering great distances to bring what they are ordered to.

The powers of jinnat

Assalam olaikum,
Allah has granted the jinnat with immense powers and an ability to move and travel quickly. Here is an incidence to prove their powers. A strong jinn had assured to the Prophet Sulaiman (Peace be upon him) that he would bring the throne of the Queen of Yemen to Jerusalem faster than the time that is needed for a man to get up from where he was sitting.
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “An ‘ifreet or a strong one from amongst the jinnat said: ‘I will bring it (her throne) to you before you rise from your place (council). And verily, I am indeed strong, and trustworthy for such work.’ One of the jinnat who had the knowledge of the Scripture said: ‘I shall bring it to you within the twinkling of an eye’! Finally when Sulaiman saw it placed before him, he remarked, ‘this is by the Grace of my Lord…’” (al-Naml 27:39-40). This incidence proves that the jinnat are capable of doing tasks in a matter of second. This fact is mentioned in the Quran
The jinnat have been created from air and fire. Therefore, they are invisible to us. The flame has two parts, one being zulmani (invisible) and the other is noorani (which is invisible also). The jinnat have been created from the zulmani part. In jinnat the flame has changed into a latif or fine, specific form that can take any shape.
The jinnat are of two types: zahiri and batini. The zahiri jinnat can appear before human beings. The amils can hear the footsteps as they walk about. However, the batini are invisible. The jinnat are so robust that they can lift a human being and carry him to distant lands. I shall narrate some incidences related to the strength of jinnat in my next posts.

Does Islam allow taking help from anyone besides Allah?

Assalalam oalaikum,
A lot of people have the misconception that taking help from anyone besides Allah is a sin. Such people are either misinformed or they lack wisdom. Or else, they may be enticed by satan because as the Holy Quran states that satan is the biggest enemy of momin. Hnece, he does not want us to succeed in life. In this post I shall prove with the help of Quran that taking help from others besides Allah is not a sin in Islam.

71 And (as for) the believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other; they enjoin good and forbid evil and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Messenger; (as for) these, Allah will show mercy to them; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.

surah tauba chaptor no 9 verse no 71

Allah has stated categorically in Surah Tauba that it is a duty of those people who have Iman to help others with Iman.
In Surah A-Maheda Allah has taken a promise from the Bani Israil (Children of Israil) to help Allah’s Prophets. This clearly shows that even the Prophets require help for carrying out their mission of spreading Islam.

Allah talah says in quran

And certainly Allah made a covenant with the children of Israel, and We raised up among them twelve chieftains; and Allah said: Surely I am with you; if you keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and believe in My messengers and assist them and offer to Allah a goodly gift, I will most certainly cover your evil deeds, and I will most certainly cause you to enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever disbelieves from among you after that, he indeed shall lose the right way.

surah maida verse no 12

In this verse Allah has stated emphatically that men and women having Iman should help each other.

Allah talah says in quran

2 O you who believe! do not violate the signs appointed by Allah nor the sacred month, nor (interfere with) the offerings, nor the sacrificial animals with garlands, nor those going to the sacred house seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord; and when you are free from the obligations of the pilgrimage, then hunt, and let not hatred of a people-- because they hindered you from the Sacred Masjid-- incite you to exceed the limits, and help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil).

surah maeda chaptor no 5 verse no 2

In this verse Allah has stated emphatically that men and women having Iman should help each other.

Allah talah says in Quran

14 O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as~ Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost.

surah saff chaptor no 61 verse no 14

In this verse Isaah Alay salam has asked for support from Hawariyun.

Allah talah says in quran

94 They said: O Zulqarnain! surely Gog and Magog make mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute on condition that you should raise a barrier between us and them
95 He said: That in which my Lord has established me is better, therefore you only help me with workers, I will make a fortified barrier between you and them;

surah al kaif chaptor no 18 verse no 94,95

In this verse Zul-Qarnain has appealed to people to help him.

Allah talah says in quran

29 And give to me an aider from my family:
30 Haroun, my brother,
31 Strengthen my back by him,

surah taha chaptor no 20 verse no 29,30,31

In Surah Taha Moosa alay salam has asked for help from his clan.
As the saying goes that, “United we stand, divided we fall”, so Allah who is All-Knowing has granted his permission for helping out each other.
I have tried my level best to bust the myth, by citing reference from the Holy Quran, that Allah does not allow people having Iman from taking help from each.

Does Islam permit taking help from jinnat?

Assalam oalaikum,

As I have mentioned in my previous posts jinnat can be either pious or followers of satan. It goes without saying that asking for help from the latter is not allowed in Islam. The satanic jinnat are Allah’s enemy and taking their help can prove to be disastrous for one’s aakhrat. Such evil jinnat can lead you astray and taking their help for momentary pleasure or profit will make you suffer in the long run. We should neither listen to such evil jinnat nor follow their orders in order to protect ourselves from humiliation and suffering on the day of qayamat or Doomsday.
In order to know more about these satan jinnat refer to my blog reality of Satan
On the contrary, there is nothing wrong in taking help from the pious jinnat who follow the Quran and the Sunnah of our Dear Prophet (s.a.w). Our Prohet (s.a.w) says that all momin are brothers and sisters. Hence, taking help from those who follow Islam is not a sin. There a number of ahadith those mention this fact. Allah ta’ala says in the Quran that there should be brotherhood amongst momin for peace and growth so that Allah may have mercy on them.

Allah talah says in quran

10 The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy.

surah hujurat chaptor no 49 verse no 10

103 And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah.s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.

surah al emnran verse no 102

220 (Their bearings) on this life and the Hereafter. They ask thee concerning orphans. Say: "The best thing to do is what is for their good; if ye mix their affairs with yours, they are your brethren; but Allah knows the man who means mischief from the man who means good. And if Allah had wished, He could have put you into difficulties: He is indeed Exalted in Power, Wise."

surah al bakarah verse no 220

An amil should not feel scared during an amal

Assalam oalaikum,
It is immensely important that in order to succeed, an amil should fight his fears during an amal instead of surrendering before them. An amil should understand that the jinnat do not wish to lose their freedom at any cost. Hence, they try to dissuade the amil from completing his amal in many ways. They may try to scare him away by showing frightening things to him. Since they cannot come very close to the amil because of the protection of hissar they simply stand outside that spiritual barricade and show the amil unreal, scary scenes. The amil should learn to ignore such tactics of the jinnat instead of reacting to them. Before starting the amal, the amil should be prepared for the rough road ahead. Performing an amal is not a child’s play. There are risks involved. Hence, instead of losing courage right in between the amal the amils should mentally prepare themselves beforehand. If for example, an amil gets terrified on seeing the scary, unreal scenes that the jinnat show him to spoil his amal then he may spring out of the hissar that he had created for his protection. This mistake will make him vulnerable to attacks from the same jinnat that he is trying to bring under his control. In order to conquer his fears an
Amil should try watching horror movies so that he may get a fair idea that just like the horror shown in the movies the scary visions shown during the amal are also fake.

The importance of hissar

Assalam oalaikum,
Hissar is an indispensable part of an amal without which an amil cannot complete his amal. This is due to the fact that hissar protects the amil during his amal from attack from the jinnat or moakil. It is like a shield drawn around the amil through which no evil force can enter to harm the amil. Though it is an invisible barrier yet it is strong enough to protect the amil from attacks. This barrier is so strong because it is created with the help of the Quranic verses, the power of which are beyond compare.
An amil may be quite strong yet he cannot match the power of the moakils. The moakils start approaching the amil when he starts his amal. Performing hissar before amal makes sure that the amil will be safe from any kind of harm or attack from the supernatural forces.
The moakkils try to interrupt the amal by scaring the amil. Hence, the amil should learn to ignore the scary images that are showed to him during the amal. Such visions are deceptive and are meant to frighten the amil so that he surrenders before the jinnat. Hence, the unreal images should be ignored in oerder to perform the amal successfully.
The method of performing hissar:
Before commencing the amal recite Surah Al-Hamd, Ayatal Kursi and the 4 Quls, and read this dua

thrice and blow it on your finger. Then draw an imaginary circle around you, leaving no space in-between.
Likewise, for doing the hissar for making jinnat or moakil appear before him, (haazraat), an amil should recite Ayatal Kursi and the 4 Quls, followed by this prayer.

hen a complete circle should be drawn around oneself without any space in between. Even a little left out space can give the jinnat or moakil a chance to trespass the hissar and harm the amil.
A very strong barricade or hissar is required, for protection during an amal, done to bring a jin under one’s control. Recite this prayer thrice before starting the amal and draw a circle around yourself after blowing on your finger or a knife. Recite it thrice again and then blow over yourself for 100% security from rajat and the prowling jinnat.

In this world are there Muslim jinns?

As salamu allaiqum
There are many Muslim jinns who obey Allah talah and it’s mentioned in quran

Surah adh dhariyat verse no 56
I already mentioned in my above post jinns lives in groups and majority of there are Satan .in other way there are non believer. But Jinns also become Muslims, as they are in the time of the rasool pak salal laho allai wasalam when a group of them and they amazed by Quran recitation Allah talah orders the rasool Allah salal laho allai wasalam to tell the people of this event:

the incidences that take place during the amal

Assalam oalaikum,
The incidences that take place during the amal-e-jinnat may differ from case to case. However, I shall try to give my readers a general idea of what one should expect to happen.
If the amal is to bring the King of the jinnat under control then the jinnat under his command may start appearing. They will never try to break into the hissar because they know for sure that if they do so then they may get burnt to ashes. As the days progress the amil will have strange experiences. In the final stage of completion of the amal the amil needs to be extremely cautious and fearless. This is the time when the jinnat try their level best to disrupt the amal so that they do not lose their liberty. The amil may be shown scary visions of thunder, lightening, water gushing forth etc. However, the amil needs to understand that such images are just illusions and not real at all. They are shown to him so that he may lose courage and give up. On the day of completion of the amal, i.e. the 40th day. The amil will see a field in which a ga cleaning the field with a broom. Then the amil will see a servant spreading out a carpet and keeping chairs on it. Amongst the chairs will be a beautif rdener may be seen sprinkling water and the garbage man may be seen ul, stone-studded couch, which the amil may have never seen before. The jinnat will start appearing on the scene and will sit down on the chairs. Soon after this a young, handsome man will come and take a special seat. He will be the wazir. Next, the King will make an appearance. He will be escorted with his aides-jinnat. He has a formidable personality and will be wearing an expensive gown and ornaments. Besides his ostentatious attire he can also be recognized instantly because of his crown. The wazir will immediately come forth to welcome him. The remaining jinnat will also stand up as a mark of reverence for the king. The king will sit on the beautifully carved, gems-studded couch. The rest of the jinnat will also take seat after him. At this moment the couch of the king will be diametrically opposite to the amil. The king or shah jinnat will offer salam to the amil. If the amil has completed the amal then he can reply to the shah jinnat. However, if his amal is still incomplete then in such a state he should bend down on his knees and reply to the shah jinnat only with a gesture. Once the amal has been completed then the amil can reply properly with a walekum assalam. The shah jinnat will then enquire, “Oh, son of Adam, why has thou called upon me”? The amil should humbly reply, “Oh shah jinnat! Here’s a hearty welcome to you. Thanks a lot for coming. I make an earnest appeal to you to help me with all my worldly tasks. Kindly help me in dealing with the vagaries of life and also with my friends and foes. I would be highly obliged if you appoint a few of your jinnat to help me when the need arises. I would also like to know an easy way by which I can have the pleasure of seeing you. The shah jinnat will comply with the amil. This is a crucial time when the amil has to sweet talk the shah jinnat to hook him forever. Since everybody craves for respect so the amil should talk to the jinnat very politely and courteously. Once the shah jinnat gets appeased he will accede to the amils demands. He will appoint a few jinnat at the amil’s duty 24/7. He will also tell the amil about some easy way by which he can be summoned. However, it would not deem proper if the amil summons an eminent person such as the shah jinnat every now and then. By doing so the amil will lose importance in the eyes of the shah jinnat. Hence, it is advisable to call him only once in a year.
Sometimes there may be different series of happenings during the amal. The amil may get unusual types of visitors. At times, some people may come up to him and enquire that, “Oh son of Adam! What is it that you need from us? Why hasth thou called us”? Sometimes a hen may appear out of nowhere and sit besides the amil and then perch on his head. Sometimes a durwaish (mendicant priest) may approach the amil and ask him that, “Oh son of Adam! Why have you called upon me”? As the amal progresses and days pass by the amil may get more and more visitors. For example, in the 40-day amal, the amil may see horrifying sights of jinnat, demons, and men on the 27th day. All of them may repeat the same question. They will try to entice the amil by saying that, “Get up and come out of this hissar. We will grant any wish of yours. If you want wealth we will give it to you, if any enemy of yours is getting on your nerves we will kill him, if you are bewitched by a girl and want her to fall in love with you then we will do this also. In order to take the amil for a ride they will start taking false vows. The concluding day of the chilla will be quite frantic. Strange incidences may take place throughout the day. The amil will see horse-riders. The unusual incidences will go on till night. Finally the amil will see a Sultan/King riding a lion along with an army of 30,000 jinnat. The sultan will come face to face with the amil and greet him with a salam. If the amal has been completed then the amil can reply to him. Otherwise he should just reply with a gesture. On completion of the amal the amil can reply him properly with a walaikum assalam. Then the same procedure is repeated as I have mentioned in the case of the shah jinnat. The amil has to deal tactfully and talk to the sultan politely. During the amal, the amil has to recite some Quranic verse a particular number of times. It has to be kept in mind that unless that number is reached the amil should never talk to the shah/sultan jinnat. For example, the ustad/ teacher may instruct you to recite a particular Quranic verse 1, 25,000 times during a 40-day chilla. So every day you may have to recite it 1250 times, to complete the chilla on time. Until this target is met, the amil should not come out of the hissar and neither should he talk to anyone. The amal-e-jinnat is a powerful amal and the safety of the amil is at stake. Hence, he should strictly abide by the instructions of his ustad for completing the amal successfully and getting many powerful jinnat at his command.

Rules regarding the use of bed and other utility items

Assalam oakailum,
The amil has to ensure that during the amal nobody else sleeps on his bed.
The amil should not share the incidences that take place during the amal, with anyone besides his teacher.
The amil should keep his utensils in a separate place so that nobody else uses them. When a person touches any item, his or her vibrations pass onto that item. Hence, an amil should avoid touching any such item that has been touched by someone else. Likewise, he should keep his own daily-use items away from others.
He should avoid eating left-over (jhoota) food.
Before starting the amal a new mattress and bed sheet should be used. Sometimes, during wet dreams men ejaculate while sleeping. Or else, infants can also pass urine on the bed. So in order to ascertain that the bed is absolutely clean, a new mattress and bed-sheet should be used.
The bed should be kept clean throughout the amal.

These rules help in fortifying the amal and they protect the amil also.

personal hygiene

Assalam oalaikum,
Keeping one’s body clean is of utmost importance for an amil. The pious moakils are made of noor and are sinless so they cannot stand any kind of filth or odor. Since the amil is giving a sort of an invitation to the moakkil or jinat for an agreement, hence it is the duty of an amil to avoid doing anything that would irk the moakils. The following regimen should be adhered to during an amal:
If possible, try maintaining wadhu at all times as this is a sign of a true believer also. The Prophet (s.a.w) said: “(On the Day of Resurrection) You will have notable marks ‘Al-Ghurr-ul- Muhajjalun’ which nobody amongst the people (except you) will have, you would come to me at the Cistern of al-Kauthar, with a shining forehead, bright hands and feet due to traces of ablution.’ (Muslim).
Taking a bath daily is also compulsory to do away with any type of odor coming from the arm-pits.
The private parts should be kept clean and free from hair.
The teeth should be flossed after every meal and the mouth gargled.
If you perform the amal during summers then avoid doing too much work because working will make you sweat profusely.
Make sure that the clothes worn during the amal are absolutely clean.

For a complete list of dos and don’ts during an amal-e-moakkil refer to my blog

the appropriate attire for an amil

Assalam oalaikum,
The clothing during an amal depends on the kind of amal that is being performed. For example: the amil is instructed by his teacher to wear body-fitted garments during amal-humzad as this ascertains that the humzad is clearly visible on the wall.
If there is no such restriction about the clothes then it is advisable to wear white kurta-shalwar. Wearing white color is beneficial in two ways: firstly, it is the color of the sufi saints and secondly, white color enhances one’s spirituality and wards off negative energies.
In certain amals it is compulsory to wear an ahram. If the amal has this requirement then make sure that the ahram does not have even a single stitch on it.
These minute details should be kept in mind by an amil to make his amal successful.

Faith and hard work play a crucial role in amalayat.

Assalam oalaikum,
Before taking the plunge into the field of amalyaat one should realize that it entails a lot of hard work and perseverance. Initially an amil may have to suffer many set backs and failures. However, as every dark cloud has a silver lining so for all steadfast amils, success follows suit.
For an amil, his work is not just an aspect of his life but his work engulfs his entire life. This is because an amil has to mould his entire life according to the demands of the amalyaat. Although every field has certain requirements but amalyat has much tougher ones. This is the reason why amils are very few as compared to other professional.
Many people dabble in this field for some time and then give up. Only those people can succeed as an amil who have complete faith in Allah and who make up their minds that they will do amals only with the help of the Quran and within the framework of Islam.
Besides this, it is also important to recite Durud shareef before and after an amal and pray to Allah humbly to make the amal successful. This work entails lots of patience too because often the jinnat do not appear before the amil at any cost or no unusual incidence takes place. This may happen if the amil makes some mistakes during the amal or else the jinnat may also do these tricks so that the amil loses his patience and gives up. Hence, as I have mentioned before, the aspiring amils should weigh the pros and cons of this field before taking the leap.
Last but not the least the faith of the amil should be unwavering too. This is because if an amil is performing the amal with the help of a Quranic verse but he does not have any faith in the verse, so the strength of his amal will dwindle.

Selection of the right place for amal-e-jinnat

Assalam oalaikum,
Selecting the right place for performing amal-e-jinn is very important. This amal cannot be done in any place which the amil feels like. If an amil finds the best-suited place for the chilla then he can be rest assured that there are 70% chances of his completing the chilla successfully.
A few factors need to be taken into account before choosing the right place. When an amil performs the amal, the jinnat start thronging that place. In such a case, if the amil has chosen his own house to perform the amal then his family members will become susceptible to attacks from the jinnat. This is because they are not protected by any hissar like the amil. The jinnat can even take their lives. So it is of utmost importance that the amil should choose a place that is secluded. If possible, then perform the chilla in a forest area that is usually uninhabited. Another sensible option would be to perform the chilla in a deserted house that has no visitors. The jinnat also prefer isolated places. Hence, they will not come to the amil if the chilla is being done in a place with lots of hullabaloo.
Huge palatial mansions that are found in rural areas are ideally suited for this work. Or else, a house can be rented which is on the ground floor.

In a nutshell, since the jinnat are quite unpredictable and dangerous so it is wise to isolate oneself from one’s family and other people to ensure their safety. This calls for a separate house to live in. Since the jinnat do not like crowded places, so the amil should choose a place that is desolate and vacant.

the significance of having a teacher (ustad) in amalyaat

Assalama oalaikum,
The backing of an ustad is indispensable for an amel. Performing chillas to bring jinnat under one’s control is like playing with fire. It is a highly risky work that cannot be done by an amil single-handedly. Just like a child needs help at every step and gets the support of his parents if he stumbles, similarly a novice amil gets help from his teacher. If the amil happens to make some mistake, then his teacher handles the situation and saves him from getting into serious trouble at the hands of the jinnat.
The amil shares all the incidences that take place once his amal begins, with his teacher. If the jinnat are trying to fool the amil in any way the teacher, who has much more experience, understands their ploy and deals with them cleverly.
Unfortunately, many people who are oblivious of the importance of having a teacher’s support in amalyaat end up destroying their life. They may get into insurmountable difficulties and then regret having tried to enter into this field. So in order to protect oneself from facing so much trouble it is advisable to take the help of an experienced teacher. This is because if the amil gets into any trouble then only his teacher can bring him out of the difficulties and guide him.
